Topologilinux - [Running Linux inside Windows]

Topologilinux is a free Linuxdistribution to be run on top or inside your
existing windows system. The main thing with Topologilinux is that it does not
require any partitioning at all. (uses a single file as linux root system)
Topologilinux is therefore very easy to install.

(2008-06-05) Topologilinux 7.0 Rc1 released

We are hopefully very close to a 7.0 final release now.

(2008-03-22) Topologilinux 7.0 Beta1 released

We are getting closer to the final 7.0 version now, this beta includes many fixes from
the last cvs version.
This version should work great on all 32 bit windows, but there are still some issues
with the 64 bit version of windows Vista. If you have a 64 bit Vista please contact use
so we can fix the final 64 bit problems on windows Vista.
Please also report other issues to me if you find any.

If you don´t know what to choose when topomanager is started choose
default BUT do not mark the limited security box

Many people have already tested the test versions in the "current" tree

(2007-04-12) Topologilinux 6.1.0 Released

Topologilinux has now released version 6.1.0.
This new version contains about 6Gb of software like:
Kernel 2.6.17.13, Gnome 2.16.3, Kde 3.5.4, Xorg 6.9.0, Openoffice 2.1, Gcc, Xfce, networking
coLinux 0.6.4, 3d games, alsa sound system and many other apps.
Based on Slackware 11.0 and you can still run it under ALL Windows versions.

This version should be working on Windows Vista read the vista.txt file
before you install on a Vista system
Another great thing is that you can also be able to run it in "real" linux
mode like tht traditional distros Debian, Fedora and slackware and so on.

Topologilinux is very easy to install and does not require any partitioning
at all. (see installation link)
Another news in version 6.1.0 is the bugfixed coLinux version
that should run much better, and still included is the daemon util
that makes it possible to run it inside windows in the background

There is also a grub-based bootmanager so you can boot in real mode
(not coLinuxmode) (require windows 2000/XP or higher)
